The workshop is scheduled to be a public, full day workshop. Based on workshop submissions of extended abstracts (max. 3 pages) or dataset descriptions, the organizers will identify 4 most pressing research challenges. For each of the challenges, we will allow around 60 minutes discussion, started off through short presentations of submitted abstracts and invited keynotes. The final hour of the workshop day will be utilised to bring the results of the individual sessions together and to chart a vision of the future of TEL amplified by publicly available datasets and enhances enabled by Learning Analytics applications. Before the workshop, contributors of suitable data descriptions will be asked to contribute short summaries of their submissions to the dataTEL group space at TELeurope and the Linked Education platform in order to encourage early information sharing and discussion also with third parties.
